After the local administration of Jamrud closed the Pak-Afghan Road from Wazir Dand to Jamrud bazaar to stop tribesmen from participating in funeral prayer, the pedestrians, drivers and patients faced severe problems. 

Eyewitnesses said the political administration had placed containers in Pak-Afghan route and it was closed for traffic including containers carrying goods for the NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan. Containers were placed in the middle of the road aimed to stop the tribesmen from joining funeral prayer of slain dead men of Bara.

Students, pedestrians, laymen and patients faced problems owing to the closure of road, however the Afghan transit trade supply and supply to NATO forces were also remained closed, locals said. Locals lashed out on APA Jamrud and saying he was incompetent man for this position. 

Talking to local journalists on the occasion, Malik Ameer Mohammad, Haji Zar Badshah, Abdur Rehman and Qasam Gul said political administration failed to restore peace in the locality. Speakers reasoned after the appointment of APA Jamrud, the insurgency was increasing despite decreasing. The incident of Alam Gudar Bara was the shocking news for the tribal people, speakers added.

Condemning the innocent killing of tribesmen of Bara, speakers said they could not sit calm over the tragic event and demanded that the accused persons should be punished for the killings of tribesmen by government.
