
Governor Khyber Pakhtukhwa, Barrister Masood Kausar, on Friday said that scientific and advanced knowledge should be given to tribal people to enable them to face the challenges of modern world.
This he said in a meeting with a delegation of Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Miranshah (NWA) led by Maulana Abdul Ghafoor at Governor’s House Peshawar.
The delegation appreciated the role of the governor in Fata development and informed that the situation has changed and is moving towards betterment. Members of the delegation also discussed law and order and other problems in the area.
The governor listened to their problems and assured them of full co-operation for their solution.
The governor said that tribal people were patriotic and loyal to their homeland and should be given the same basic right as people of other areas in the nation possessed.
We should try our best to bring and maintain peace in Fata so that the ‘other hands’ might not get the opportunity to exploit our internal situations
He said that tribal people had given many sacrifices for their beloved country and they could play a vital role in establishing peace in the region by supporting government policies and activities in Fata.
