Sundus of GGS Karimpura declared best Naat Khwan

Annual Naat competition held among Girls middle schools of the public sector was won by Government Middle School New Karimpura, Peshawar. The Annual Naat competition arranged by of Elementary and Secondary Education (Female) District Peshawar was held at Government Girls Middle school Cantt. Peshawar. District Education Officer (Female) Sofia Tabassom was chief guest at the event while Farzana Yusuf, District Sport Secretary was also present.

Students from 25 middle schools of the district participated in the competition. According to jury decision, Sundus of Government Girls School New Karimpura clinched first position while Khadija of GGMS Gul Bacha Jee and Maryam of GGMS Lahori gate grabbed 2nd each.

Similarly Asma of GGMS Shaheen Muslim Town, Gulbahar No 4 and Rimsha of GGMS Jehangirpura, Peshawar was declared as 3rd in the competition. Speaking on the occasion, Farzana Yusuf, District Sport Secretary lauded efforts of heads of middle schools for making the event a success. 

She appreciated courage and presentation skill of the students. She said co-curricular activities can play vital role in building up of the students besides developing a sense of healthy competition in them. The chief guest District Education Officer (Female) Sofia Tabassum gave trophies to the winners of the competition.
