The citizens have expressed concern over low gas pressure in evening and morning times besides up to six hour power outages in different parts of the provincial capital. With the advent of winter season, low gas pressure is experienced in some parts of the city including Nothia, Yakkatoot, University Town, Ganj and Bahar Colony causing immense problems and inconvenience to domestic consumers.

Meanwhile, unannounced power outages up to six hours continued in the suburbs of Peshawar despite PESCO’s tall claims to have reduced loadshedding. Expressing concerns over power outages and low gas pressure, citizens threatened to take to streets if concerned authorities failed to end unscheduled loadshedding and improve gas pressure.
