Three Peshawar based tech ideas converted in to startup businesses. Revolt an incubator by Peshawar 2.0, a social enterprise, incubated these three ideas into full-fledged businesses through an intensive marathon three months program.
Fresh graduates from different educational institutes joined Revolt three months back. All the team went through a program which covered important areas ideas generation, innovation, the basic of building a startup, business model generation. And they also covered the legal, financial marketing side of building a startup.
Talking to the Media Cofounder of Peshawar 2.0 Salman Ahmad said, “Peshawar 2.0 is on a mission to develop a culture of innovation and a startup ecosystem in the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”.
“Apart from the incubator, we are also providing a unique and creative co-working facility with the name of Basecamp, Peshawar” He added.
First startup of the Revolt’s Demo Day was My Social Studio, Co-Founded by Asad Iqbal and Waqas.
“My Social Studio is a web based app that helps freelancers, entrepreneurs, individuals and small & medium sized businesses owners to design and schedule beautiful, compelling and engaging posts for social media with just a few clicks”, Asad Iqbal said
Adel Shabir A young Business Administration Student presented his startup Snapeey, an exciting new web platform that allows people to custom design a shirt the way they would like.
On this occasion Adeel Shabir, who is co-founder of Snapeey, said, “Our platform will have a comprehensive web app that allows users to order from anywhere on the globe. Imagine the ability to create an entirely customized t-shirt. You choose the material and style of the shirt, and then the image or graphic you want on the front and/or back. And the artists whose design are purchased and printed by customers, gets a royalty out of every purchase”

Muhammad Jahangir and Mian Rashid Inam, the final graduating entrepreneurs, presented Bera, their ecommerce platform of local handmade shoes.
“Bera is the first exclusive brand of Peshawari chappal. It is a promise to provide customers with formidable quality, elegant design, and top of the line quality that has never been seen on shelves before.” Jahangir, co-founder of Bera, Said.
Revolt’s demo day was attended by entrepreneurs, students, techies and artists etc. from across Peshawar. “The demos and pitches of all these entrepreneurs are very inspiring. Before attending today’s event, we never thought that it is possible to build such innovative products and businesses in Peshawar. I am pleasantly surprised”, said one of the participant attending the event.
In the end, the co-founder of Peshawar 2.0, Salman Ahmad, opened the applications for the second cycle of Revolt’s incubation programs, and urged all the enterprising students to apply for the program and take advantage of all the resource available at Basecamp.
