
Detection Teams constituted on the directions of Chief Executive Pesco were busy chalking out a plan to get illegal connections and direct hooks removed through out the Province, says a press release.
Detection teams raided different areas and found nine hooks on direct connections at a market on Delazak road under Pesco Lala sub-division.
The direct connection holders were Rozi Khan property dealer, a general store, cement agency, engineering works, auto shop, Insaf veterinary health clinic, Shah PCO and Khalil steel corporation.
FIRs were lodged against these electricity thieves.
The press release said that Detection teams had replaced all tempered and defective meters, adding, that drive against illegal use of electricity had been launched under the supervision of chief engineer customer services.
Pesco appealed the public to avoid illegal use of electricity and remove all direct hooks immediately other wise strict action will be taken against the culprits.
It requested the public to cooperate with them in overcoming load shedding and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to all consumers.
Meanwhile, power supply will remain suspended from 132KV Peshawar Cantt Grid station on 4th September from 7AM to 2PM due to maintenance work. Resultantly the consumers of 11 KV Mall Road and MES feeders will face inconvenience.
Supply will also remain suspended from 132 KV Peshawar Rehman Baba grid station on 4th & 6th September from 7AM to 1PM as a result of which the consumers of 11KV Akhunabad and Beri Bagh feeders will face inconvenience.
Supply will remain suspended from 132 KV Peshawar City Grid station on 5th August from 7AM to 12PM due to which the consumers of 11KV Pandu road-1 and 2 and Surizai feeders will face inconvenience.
