The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for finance Engineer Mohammad Humayun Khan has deplored the destruction of national property worth Rs84 billion on the eve of ” Ishqi Rasool day ” and termed it a nationaltragedy adding that PPP has always worked for supremacy of Islam and democracy and history of the country was testimony to it .

He was addressing the people gathered at the event of joining in PPP of Ali Gul, Said Rihman, Semin Khan, Imran , Fazal Rahim, Amir Mohammad , Fayyaz , Adnan, and Azam Khan with their families at Dheri Jolagram District Malakand on Sunday. They also reposed full confidence in the leadership of Humayun Khan. The function was also addressed by Haji Qasim Qasaab , Ibrahim Ustad , hajji Nawshirwan , and said Rahman.

They highlighted in detail the struggle of PPP, particularly the late Mohammad Hanif Khan, against feudalism in district Malakand and freeing the poor people from the clutches of feudal lords.

They called upon the workers to convey the message of the party to every nook and corner and inform the younger generation of the atrocities of feudal class. 

The speakers expressed anguish over the way the agitation was given a destructive direction by some vested interests against the anti-Islam film which defamed the nation the world over

Referring to the demands, the provincial finance minister assured that all their genuine problems including potable water, electricity, pavement of streets and replacement of out dated PVC lines, would be redressed on priority basis.
