Disconnection & Recovery Campaign is in full swing throughout the province and Rs.2.6 million were recovered from the defaulted consumers. FIRs have been lodged against 41 power thieves.
Pesco Recovery team under the supervision of SDO Badbher sub-division Nadar Wali raided different areas of Gul Bahadar, Zangali, Shen Darmang, Masho, Mera Surizai, Badbher and Saifen nabbing
41 persons using direct connections. FIRs were lodged against them in the concerned police stations.
During checking several commercial connections were disconnected using domestic supply. Similarly, procedures were initiated for the change of tariff from domestic to commercial usage.
Pesco Checking team in Badabher recovered an amount of Rs 2,51,000 from defaulters. SDO Nadar Wali also directly spoke to the masses to motivate them to pay bills in time.
Pesco recovery teams in Rural Cantt Division
Peshawar recovered Rs 3,10,493 from 37 defaulters, while power supply to 6 consumers was disconnected for nonpayment of Rs 66689. In Pesco
Swat Circle Rs 4,74,,941were recovered from defaulters.
Similarly in Mardan-I Division, the teams recovered Rs6,30,000 from defaulters and in Tangi sub-division Rs19,4080 were recovered from defaulters.
Similarly, in Kohat division Rs4,50,000 were recovered from defaulters. In Nowshera-I Division Rs2,64,207 were recovered from defaulters, while electricity supply was disconnected to several consumers for nonpayment of dues.
Chief executive Pesco lauded the performance of the recovery teams and directed other field officials to speed up the recovery campaign.
Meanwhile, due to installation of power transformer at Jamrud Grid Station power supply will remain disconnected for 96 hours in a few areas of Hayatabad.
Due to installation of a heavy power transformer at 132 KV Jamrud Grid Station, the power supply will be shut down from 8AM on 13th November stretching to 8AM on 17th November (96 hours).
Resultantly, the consumers of 11 kv PCB, Olympia, PPI-2, Kidney Centre, RMI and Hayatabad No-3 feeders will face inconvenience.
