Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Peshawar has won the ISO 9001-2008 certificate in recognition of its quality health services and best medical treatment. The hospital has won the award for the third time for its inexpensive and best health services to the military and civil persons. Corps Commander Peshawar Lt. General Khalid Rabbani awarded the ISO certificate to Commandant CMH.
Speaking on the occasion Lt. General Rabbani said the award is an honour for CMH and the Pak Army as well.

“It shows that the doctors of armed forces are delivering best medical and health services to patients,”.

He said that upholding ISO standards is not an easy task but hardworking staff of CMH Peshawar not only maintained these standards but also won the award for the third time. He said the war on terror signified the importance of CMH as it provided medical treatment to many victims of terrorist attacks.

Meanwhile, Corps Commander conferred best performance awards upon Brigadier Ahmed Hassan of Surgical, Brigadier Ashraf of Anesthesia department and Brigadier Parveen of Family Wing CMH. It is pertinent to mention here that CMH Peshawar was founded in 1884 for the then war victims. It is also one of the oldest hospitals of the province with modern laboratories, CT Scan, MRI and other diagnostic facilities. The departments of Cardiology, Neurology and Plastic Surgery at CMH are well known for delivering modern and special treatment.
