This is for the information of all concerned who are spreading misinformation on social media regarding our logo. The department of elementary and secondary education, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reserves the right to take legal action against all those spreading such misinformation. KPESE never promoted such culture and the photos given of some booklets in these posts are in NO way connected to KPESE or its related departments. Such literature has never been distributed in any government or private school by KPESE.

Typical education logos use only certain icons to depict education such as books, pencils, and degrees etc.

KPESE requirements were to breakaway from the usual shapes and hence a frame shaped logo was chosen. All education related important items are always framed; the first day of going to school, a merit certificate, degree, and the first day at work.

Inside the Frame are parts of different horizons that education makes a child to go beyond.

Bright colours of a rainbow are associated with childhood, tales, and fun since time immemorial. In this particular context, the colours represent earth/water where our young stand and the gradual ascent to a future as bright as the Sun through education. KPESE is determined to change education from a compulsion in the eyes of the children to a fun learning experience. That path is very long and full of obstacles but all journeys start with the first step. Earlier this year, KPESE distributed colouring books for the first time in the history of government schools. The concept behind the initiative is to make education more fun and hence attractive to children.

A glance to KPESE performance

KPESE is the first department of any provincial / federal government in Pakistan that made Quranic Education a compulsion is all grades of schools to enable our children spend their life in light of Quran and Sunnah. Teachers training is also underway to revolutionize the way our children learn.

A major drive is underway against corporal punishment. These and dozens other initiatives are taken by people of this land who are utilizing the opportunity they are given to create a children friendly learning environment. A shift from monotonous rote learning to a bright, colourful, and confidence instilling approach.

Social Media War

The issue was raised by M Abid Atozai, a Chairman of Provincial Youth Assembly on twitter early this morning and went viral in couple of hours

Clarification to defence.pk page on facebook by Najiullah Khattak, media advisor of KP Govt

We would encourage the public not to use this esteemed department for their politically motivated ideas as this department is the one that would make the base of our children for their progress to enable them to become socially responsible and economically independent citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
