Brig. (retd) Tariq Saddozai has assumed the office of Chief Executive Pesco and has started discharging his official responsibilities from Friday. On this occasion he has shown his resolve to work with full dedication and in the best interest of company and to bring the company out of the financial crunch, to reduce line losses, increase recovery and to provide better facilities to the public at their door steps, he said these 3 targets can be attained with the co operation of Pesco employees. He said he would look after the Pesco employees and resolve their difficulties and problems but they have to co operate with me for bringing the Company out of financial losses.

Brig. (Retd) Tariq was born in November 1955 in a respectable Saddozai family at D I Khan. He got commission in Pakistan Army in 1973 and after performing duties on different important assignments in Pak Army he was appointed CEO KESC in 2001 where in he served for 5 years and succeeded to achieve the goals assigned, he brought the KESC out of the financial crunch to a great extent in addition to reduction in line losses.

He earned his Engineering from NED Engineering University Karachi and Masters in Strategic Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. After retirement from Army in 2007 he served in Northern Region of Pepsi and Almueez Industries. 

He has also performed services in Washington as Techniclal Attache. On the other hand Brig:Tariq is also an out standing sportsman and has earned 4 gold Medals in different races, he represented Pakistan in Asian games, he is the veteran Champion of National Tennis (Doubles)

Chief Executive PESCO Brig Tariq Saddozai presided a high level meeting at WAPDA House, on Friday. In his address to Pesco senior officers he said I need your co operation and with the help of your cooperation we will be able to bring the company out of the current financial loss of Rs.4 Billion per month. He said to Reduce Line Losses, Increase recovery and provision of better facilities to customers, our officers has to go out to the field. 

He directed the PESCO officers and officials to work for the betterment of the company and make all out efforts to reduce the line losses and enhance its recovery so that the company could be put on the track of success and prosperity. He directed PESCO employees to facilitate the valuable consumers of PESCO at their doorsteps. The Company and the public has to go hand in hand to tackle the current problems faced by the company in the Province.
