Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmad Bilour has said that all the political parties are the products of martial laws. Addressing Bashir Bilour chehlum ceremony here on Saturday, the ANP leader said that some parties are the products of Gen Ayub Khan, some are of Gen Zia regime and some are the products of Gen Musharraf martial law.
Why the Pakhtuns are being killed, he asked, saying that Pakhtuns believe in non-violence philosophy of Bacha Khan. He said that cruelty with the ANP should be stopped. He said that the ANP’s history is full of sacrifices and who continue sacrifices for the protection of the constitution.
He said that Mufti Mehmood, Maulana Abdul Haq, Maulana Noorani and Jamaat-e-Islami had signed the constitution. Are the Taliban better Muslims than them, he asked. He said that the ANP would take revenge of Bashir Bilour assassination by achieving majority in the upcoming general elections.
APP adds: The Awami National Party ANP) Sunday here at Nishtar Hall arranged a function in connection with Chehlum of their leader and senior Minister Shaheed Bashir Ahmed Bilour wherein rich tributes were paid to the courageous and outspoken politician who was assassinated in a suicide attack in interior city on December 23 last.
The event was addressed among others by federal minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Karamatullah Khan, Senior Vice President of ANP Haji Muhammad Adeel, Provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, and President of ANP KP Senator Afrasiab Khattak.
Addressing on the occasion, Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmad Bilour said that the entire nation was in a state of shock and grief after the assassination of Bashir Bilour adding that his brother laid down life for his country.
He maintained that Taliban had not realized the fact that the entire nation would stand over the Shahadat of Bashir Bilour that is why they (Taliban) extended talks offer to the government on the Qul of Bashir Bilour.
We want that unrest from this part of the world should end as early as possible as Pukthoons on both sides were being killed, the ANP leader added.
He asked the militants as to how long they would continue killing the innocent people. Why the Pakhtuns are being killed, he asked, saying that Pakhtuns believe in non-violence philosophy of Baacha Khan.
