
Two newly elected independent members Provincial Assembly, Malik Qasim Khan and Shah Muhammad Khan Wazir here Friday announced joining of Pakistan Tahrik-e-Insaf (PTI) unconditionally.
They expressed full confidence in the leadership of PTI Chief Imran Khan and Chief Minister designate Pervez Khan Khattak.
They announced joining of PTI during a meeting with Chief Minister designate Pervez Khan Khattak here today. Malik Qasim Khan was elected MPA from PK-41 Karak and Shah Muhammad Khan Wazir form PK-72 Bannu in general elections 2013.
The newly elected MPAs vowed to work day and night for welfare of the people and development of the province and assured full support to Chief Minister-designate Pervez Khan Khattak and his team.
They said they had inspired from the leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak that led to joining of PTI, adding purpose behind their joining of PTI is to bring stability to political system and worked hard for industrial and economic prosperity development.
On this occasion, Pervez Khattak has welcomed them into PTI folds.
Pervez Khattak said inclusion of large number of independent candidates in PTI reflected their confidence in PTI leadership, policies and manifesto of the party.
Khattak said people’s have great expectations from the newly elected members and we will utilize all energies and resources to fullfil on their expectations.
He said PTI was committed to address the mounting challenges of load-shedding, corruption, price-hike, terrorism, militancy, unemployment and would introduce such policies and reforms for solution of these problems on war footing basis.
He said PTI would form such a progressive and peoples friendly government that would be a role model for other provinces, adding PTI would implement its election manifestos with letter and spirit.
