
The preparations of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Secretariat for according warm welcome to the newly elected members of the house were in full-swing where the staff was busy in the beautification and white-wash of different offices of the secretariat.
For the facilitation of welcoming of the newly elected members, the secretariat has turned the office Additional Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Ghulam Sarwar into Reception, while Deputy Secretary (Legislation), Hidayatullah has been declared as Focal Person in this regard.
Talking to APP, Deputy Secretary, Hidayatullah said that preparations for welcoming the newly elected members were in full-swing. He said that the reception established near the Khyber Road side entrance will also collect bio-data and will also facilitate them in getting accommodation in the MPA’s Hostel.
Furthermore, the Reception Office will also facilitate the newly elected members of the house in opening accounts in the Sub-Branch of the Bank of Khyber (BOK) in the assembly secretariat.
Out of the total 99 general seats, about 72 MPAs-elect of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly had been elected for first time for which the Assembly Secretariat in collaboration with Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) has also planned an orientation session on the rules, regulations of the proceedings of the house and provisions of constitutions.
