
Chairman NEPRA Habibullah Khilji and Member NEPRA Shaukat Kundi visited Wapda House and hold a meeting with Chief Executive Pesco Tariq Saddozai on Friday.
The facilities provided to public were reviewed by the Chairman in the meeting while; chief executive briefed the meeting regarding steps taken for consumer facilitation.
CEO Pesco told him that a number of Customers Services Centers were established throughout the province at circle level and Central Complaints Cell was fully operative at headquarters level round the clock for addressing consumer’s complaint. He said complaints offices had already working on Sub-Divisional and Divisional level. CEO told the meeting that according to new procedure domestic electricity connections were being provided within 20 days and 40000 new connections had been provided against the pending 50000 connections.
Chairman NEPRA desired that Customers Services Performance Report should be provided to NEPRA on monthly basis and complaints forwarded by the NEPRA should be redressed within 20 days.
