Speaker Kiramatullah Khan on Friday said that provincial assembly constituency PK-7 had been equipped with modern facilities adding the completion of wide roads were bearing far-reaching impact on the socio-economic standard of the people.

Addressing a ceremony held in connections with the inauguration of a power feeder in village, Burj Nasir Khan, he vowed not to take rest till guaranteeing the provision of natural gas to each and every house of the area.

He said that measures were being taken for bringing improvement in electricity supply system through installation of feeders and transformers. 

He said that the scheme would cost an amount of Rs8 million and would resolve the power supply related problems of 40,000 people.

The speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly said that the provision of power, health, education, communications, and natural gas facilities on one hand had improved the life standard of the people and on the other hand proved that he does not believes in the politics of hallow slogans.

He said that previous legislators from the area had done nothing except deprivation, the redressal of which was the objective of his politics. 

He said for provision of better education and skills two Girls’ Degree Colleges and one Woman University had been established in the constituency. 

Kiramatullah Khan said that PPP in light of the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was taking concrete steps for guaranteeing the rights of women, saying that is the reason that majority of them expressed confidence in this party. 

He said that PPP with the support of the people and transparent polls will form federal and provincial governments in the country.
