Assistant Political Agent of tehsil Bara, Nasir Khan distributed more than one million rupees among deserving patients of Khyber Agency from Atlasi Khyber Endowment Fund (AKEF) on Monday at Khyber house Peshawar.

Nasir Khan checques were distributed among poor people of three tehsils of Khyber Agency on the directives issued by the Political Agent, Khyber Agency Mutahir Zeb. 

Talking to journalists in a gathering APA said the Khyber Agency administration had given more than 20 millions rupees to deserving patients from the said funds aimed to facilitate the poor patients.

He further said the fund was allocated for those people who were unable to afford the expenditures of the diseases they were involved in. 

The cheques are being given to patients through a proper planning and every body is bound to follow and approach the welfare fund through a specific criteria. 

During the gathering, the APA Nasir Khan facilitated patients with cheques including Maghul Shah S/o Hukam of Koki Khel, Syed Shaukat Shah, Sherbat Khan, Noor Akram,Hayat Khan, Rukhsana Bibi and Ghulam Jan. Around Rs 2566000 were distributed among heirs of the patients on the occasion.
