Officials alleges irregularities in Livestock Deptt

Workers of Live Stock Research Development Department Syed Rahim Shah and Bilal Ahmad on Wednesday appealed Chief Justice Peshawar High Court and Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti to take notice of the irregularities in the recruitment at the department.

While talking to media in Peshawar Press Club Syed Rahim Shah and Bilal Ahmad told that they were working in the department for the last four years on daily wages and were the resident of Peshawar district. They accused that a committee comprising of Director General of the Department Gufran Ullah and Director Sajad Ahmad had recruited people on vacant posts through nepotism without announces any advertisement.

Rahim and Bilal both had been terminated when they wanted to acquire about the irregularities in recruitment. They continued that they had contacted the concerned minister Hidayat Ullah but in vain. They also accused the Director General for recruiting 50% workers from his native area, Shabqadar.
