
First ever 5D Motion Ride in the country was inaugurated in Peshawar on Wednesday giving youth of Peshawar a chance to spend some quality leisure time at a time when the province was facing terror attacks. Vice Chancellor Iqra University Dr Ather Zaidi was the chief guest on the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by VC Frontier Women University Dr Farhana Jahagir, Provincial Chief Smeda Javed Iqbal Khattak, Director Institute of Management Sciences Dr Mohsin Khan, former Director Institute of Studies Dr Shahjahan, Director of Confed Naji Ullah Khattak, Group of Vice President Bank of Khyber Rehman Ullah Khattak, Group of Vice President Bank of Khyber Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani, Dr Samad, and Dr Ali Jan were present on the occasion.
Galactic Space has a 5D motion ride, 3D gaming zone and a café. Young boys and girls, children and the older lot enjoyed the motion ride after it was opened for general public on Wednesday.
Dr Ather said that he had been waiting for 5D motion ride since long and he was proud of the fact that Peshawar was the first city in Pakistan to have introduced this new technology.
Anum, a visitor, excitedly came out of the motion ride and told her father that she would do her homework on time every day if promised to bring her to the motion ride every weekend.
Samir, who recently graduated from a university in Lahore, said that when came back from Lahore after completing his education he missed the Punjab Capital as in Peshawaw there were hardly any places where he could spend some good time along with his friends. He said that the opening of Galactic Space gave him hope and he was beginning to think that his hometown city (Peshawar) was not so bad after all.
Syed Mohib Gilani, owner of Galactic Space said that he was proud of the initiative that he had taken and wanted to be a part of the development of the city. He said that the place would provide healthy activities to youth of Peshawar and will remain open for 12 hours every day from 11am to 11pm.
The educationists appreciated the efforts of the young man who took the risk of opening Galactic Space in a city like Peshawar. They expressed the hope that such places would give a new life to Peshawar.
