The sufferings and miseries of commuters remain unabated as most of the CNG stations remained closed on Thursday while public transport remained very thin adding to the woes of the public.
Long queues of vehicles were witnessed outside those CNG stations that were open and providing CNG to the motorists. Traffic remained jammed in various parts of the provincial capital due to rush outside the CNG stations.
Students of different schools, colleges and universities also faced problems in getting to their respective institutions as local transport was also missing and few buses and wagons could be seen plying on the roads. Some of the students complained that their education was affected adversely due to on-going strike of owners of the CNG stations.
