The Provincial Transport Authority on Friday notified the fare rates for diesel operated public transport vehicles with the decrease in price of the commodity. According to a notification, an increase of Rs 1.25/km was fixed for each passenger traveling by flying coach and mini bus, while the increase of Rs 1.45/km per passenger in AC bus, Rs 1.10/km per passenger in ordinary bus and Rs 1.20/km per passenger in luxury bus was approved.
