Everyone attending Khyber Medical College convocation was stunned when a medical graduate refused to receive a degree from the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar, Geo News reported.

Reportedly the medical graduate, Dr Saud claimed his action was a protest against the violence the doctors were being subjected to across Pakistan.

“I refused to receive the degree only to register my protest. I demand of the government to provide necessary security to doctors ”, said he.

Later, security escorted him out of the hall the convocation was underway in.
