The doctors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa\’s government hospitals Saturday going on strike, closed down outdoor patient departments (OPDs) of major teaching hospitals of the province against the abduction of Dr. Abdul Aziz.
The spokesman of Provincial Doctors Association (PDA), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said they will extend the ambit of their strike if Dr. Abdul Aziz is not recovered.
The PDA stressed that kidnapping the doctors has become a routine in the province; but, the government is not taking any serious note of this worse situation. It should be mentioned here that Dr. Abdul Aziz, a surgeon of Ayub Medical Complex, was abducted last week and he is hitherto unaccounted for.
The doctors hailing from four hospitals of the province closed down the OPDs against the abduction.
