District administration has imposed section 144 in Peshawar city for one month and has banned pillion riding. DCO Peshawar Javed Marwat said the section 144 was imposed to maintain law and order situation during Muharram. Wall chalking and pamphlets carrying hatred content, use of tinted glasses and loud speaker has also been banned.
