
The Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chief Minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Wednesday strongly condemned suicide explosion near Khan Razaak police station and termed it as inhuman and cowardice act.
In a statement here, the Chief Minister said such attacks could not deter the resolve of the government in fight against terrorism.
He eulogized services of Khyber Pakthunkhwa police during war against terrorism and held it in high esteem.
The Chief Minister prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to members of the bereaved families to bear this loss with patience and fortitude.
The Chief Minister directed the hospital administration to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
It may be recalled that five persons inculding SP Investigation Hilal Haider was killed and 40 others injured in a suicide attack near Khan Razaak police station in Qissakhwani bazaar today.
Meanwhile, Awami National Party (ANP) President, Asfandyar Wali Khan and Provincial President Senator Afrasaib Khan Khattak on Wednesday strongly condemned suicide attack on SP Investigation Hilal Haider and expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
In a statement issued here, the ANP leaders said that terrorists are making such cowardice and inhuman acts in a bid to make people hostage. However, they said this would not continue longer.
Such inhuman acts could not deter the resolve of government, police and people and time is not for away when peace would completely prevail in the country.
They ANP leaders said joint actions would continue against terrorists unless their complete elimination. They prayed for early recovery of the injured.
