Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar on Tuesday congratulated Tribal Union of Journalists (TUJ) for having been honored with Human Rights Award by Friedrich Ebert-Sliftung, a volunteer organization of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In his message of felicitation addressed to Safdar Dawar, President of the Tribal Union of Journalists who had received the award in a ceremony held in Berlin recently, the Governor has described it a great success on part of the tribal journalists towards realization of their role in the arena of journalism internationally.
He also wished more successes to them and assured fullest support for continuing their services in future too.
It merits a mention here that the award; titled \”Per Menschenreehtstricis\”; was introduced in 1994 and it is for the first time that an organization from South Asia has been honored with it.
