The provincial government has decided to take strict security measures against any possible acts of terrorism during Eid-ul-Azha days.

According to official source, police would be deployed on key exit and entrance points besides patrolling in restive areas of Peshawar to ward of any act of subversive activity. Policemen in plain clothes would also be deployed near important government buildings and sensitive installations while CCTV cameras would be installed in key squares to thwart nefarious designs of outlaws.

Ariel firing would not be allowed and culprits would be shifted to jail. The women policemen have been tasked to remain alert at main shopping bazaars for security of shoppers. The SDPOs and SHOs have been asked to personally ensure patrolling in their respective areas.
