The students of Agriculture University Peshawar on Monday staged protest demonstration against the teachers for boycotting the classes.

It is to mention there that Agriculture University Teachers’ Association (AUTA) had given a strike call to press for their demand of 20 percent increase in salaries.

The students belonging to Islami Jamiat-e-Talba protesting outside Peshawar Press Club were holding banners and placard inscribed with slogans against the teachers’ boycott. 

Leader of the protesters Khawar Ali said that the boycott of teachers would had a negative impact on the studies of the students. 

Teachers boycotted the classes on personal grounds which was wasting the precious time of the students, he added.

Khawar appealed the teacher to call off their boycott and provide attention to the students who come from remote areas for getting education.

He also asked class three and four employees of the University to end their protest.
