A warehouse of the UNHCR caught fire in the Chamkini area of the city. Thousands of tents being kept in the warehouse were burnt in the fire. According to eyewitnesses, there was welding work underway at the warehouse and it was from these sparks that the warehouse caught fire. Within minutes the fire engulfed the warehouse and fire fighters struggled to extinguish it.
