Peshawar: Jamat Islami (JI) staged protests in different regions of the province on Friday against the resumption of NATO supplies. Provincial Amir JI Professor Ibrahim while talking to congregation in Jamia Hadiqat-ul-Aloum Al-Markiz Islami termed the NATO supply’s resumption a disgraceful act and said the Pakistani nation would never let the government’s decision be implemented. He said that the people should stand against the government and block the supply routes. 

JI Lower Dir also staged a demonstration rally leaded by vice provincial president of JI Siraj-ul-Haq. 

While talking to demonstrators, ex-MPA Siraj-ul-Haq blamed that incumbent government compromised on national integrity in exchange of dollars. He added that JI would never accept the decision and start nation wide protest against the government. 

Hanifullah Khan President of JI district Bunir chapter leaded the demonstration in Bunir. In his speech to the demonstrators he said that if the party leaders allowed them the party worker would forcefully block the NATO supply. 

In Karak, Laki Marwat, D.I.Khan and Sawat JI member staged protests that leaded and addressed by local leaders of the party.
