60-year old Muhammad Alam was waiting out side the operation theater of Hayatabad Medical Complex asking God to save life of his son, Alam Sher, who was critically injured in the bomb blast in Jamrud, Khyber Agency.

“I was busy in my shop when the blast was occurred” Muhammad Alam said.The old man’s face was depicting his feelings as he the shock of his 35-year old sons’s death was still not over and his another son was fighting the battle of life and death. 

“My son Alam Said was killed in a similar incident around two months ago in the same area,” Alam said.

Alam Sher was the only son of Muhammad after the elder of the two sons had died in another blast. Alam Sher is my only source of income and also for the family of his killed brother, the old man said.
