The Provincial Executive Council of Awami National Party constituted a five member Parliamentary Board for giving party tickets to its candidates for the upcoming general election.

The parliamentary board would receive application in the coming week from its party members who wish to participate for the next general election from their consistency.

This was said by Provincial ANP General Secretary Arbab Tahir Khan Khalil on Friday while talking with The Frontier Post.

“In the coming week the board would receive application from all of its party members” Arbab added.

Tahir Khan said that the parliamentary board would consist of five members while Senator Afrasiab Khattak would be the chairman of the board while senator Baz Muhammad Khan, MNA Jamila Gillani, Karim Babak and Mian Iftikhar Hussain would be the members of the board.

Arbab Tahir also said that all preparation had been finalized for the All Parties Conference (APC) which would be held on Feb 14 in Islamabad.

He also said that all political parties leader would participate in the APC, adding, that Jammat-i-Islami refused to participate from the APC but soon they would be make agree to participate in APC and for this ANP were continuously in contact with the JI.

Arbab also added that it was the time to unite all parties despite the differences to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country, adding, that terrorism was not only the problem of Awami National Party but all political parties were affected from the terrorism and they should all set together for solving this problems which was real threat for the country, Arbaba added.
