Governor Barrister Masood Kausar approved one-year service extension to 340 lecturers hailing from Fata, who were recruited in 2011 on ad-hoc basis.

The governor held open court at Parachinar Press Club on Thursday and listened to the problems of the tribesmen. On the demand of ad-hoc lecturers, the governor gave one year service extension to 340 lecturers belonging to FATA.

He said that Parachinar and Sadda municipal committees would soon get funds from the centre, adding, rehabilitation process of internally displaced persons of the region was underway with a rapid pace. No one will be allowed to disturb peace in Kurrum Agency again and miscreants would be treated with an iron fist, the governor added.
