Around 16,860 candidates from different parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), Azad Jammu Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan appeared in the entrance test for the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) in Peshawar on Sunday.

The test was successfully conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluating Agency (ETEA) of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government at four locations across the province simultaneously including in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swat and Dera Ismail Khan.

In Peshawar, the test was conducted at the Islamia Collegiate Ground and the cricket ground at the University of Peshawar. In Abbottabad, the test was conducted in the Ayub Medical College ground while in Swat, it was held at the Grassy Ground of Saidu Sharif.

As happend in past, the front side of Islamia College was covered with pamphlet and brochure of educational institutes offering admission to student and they are throwing it without any hesitation since there is no garbage collector.

The result was declared today at 9:00 AM and the statistics are mentioned below
