Awami National Party (ANP) Provincial Cabinet on Tuesday decided to celebrate 2013 as Baba-e-Amn (Father of peace) Year by dedicating the year to the services Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan.
It was decided in a meeting of the party KP cabinet under the chairmanship of Senator Afrasiab Khattak.
Afrasiab Khattak said that all political parties are agree that only change can came in the country with the coming election, adding that the public never want to derail the democratic government. He also added that all political parties are mature politically and they will not part of any misguidance, adding that to strengthen the democracy in the country all democratic institution should be made strengthen.
Afrasiab Khattak said that 2013 is the election year in the country and election will be held on time, adding that ANP respect all the democratic institution and always said that all the institution should work in their own capacity and never go out side of their power, he added.
He also added that ANP workers always give sacrifice for the country and for the elimination of terrorism in the country their sacrifice will be continue till the end of terrorism in the country. In the meeting members of the cabinet appreciated the sacrifice of senior minister Shaheed Bashir Ahmad Bilour in golden words and said that his sacrifice will be always remember.
They also said that after the assassination of senior minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour their courage is more boost up and they are ready to give sacrifice for the country. In the meeting special arrangements were also discuss for the January 21, 2013 Fakhr-e-Afghan Bacha Khan and Rehbar-e-Tehreek Khan Abdul Wali Khan anniversary and 2013 announced as Baba-e-Aman Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan (Bacha Khan) year.
The participants of the meeting shows their grief over the prolong load shedding in the province and said that under the article 158 the province is in rich in its natural resources and province is producing more electricity and Sue Northern Gas but with out these resources more load shedding of electricity and gas were here and demanded the federal government to end the power and gas long load shedding as soon as possible in the province.
On the occasion provincial general secretary of ANP Arbab Muhammad Tahir Khan Khalil and provincial secretary Information Malik Ghulam Mustafa were also present.
